I haven't been to Farmers BBQ on Mallard Creek yet, but now have it on my list of places to try and review. Charlotte seems to be a vacuum of decent barbecue, so hopefully this place will fill that vacuum!
Anyone else ever been to Farmers and can respond?

I'm glad to see that someone else is actually posting a Q-joint review on here. I've been about the only poster for years!
I sure hope the Henry James in Asheboro is better than the Henry James in High Point, as I truly didn't think it very good! The pork was consistent in being inconsistent! Some was dry and chewy and some was moist and mushy.

Looks pretty good, but I just found out that I have to replace my HVAC systems both upstairs and down (2 units) for $10K!!!
So much for buying ANYTHING right now!!!

Well, I got to Nelson's in March of 2012, and they closed sometime in the summer I think. Too bad, as they were actually pretty good. Here's my review:
