Basic Eastern North Carolina Sauce

Basic recipe for NC BBQ Sauce
2 qt. |
Apple Cider Vinegar |
1/4 cup |
Salt |
1 1/2 T |
Black Pepper |
1 T |
Crushed Red Pepper |
1 T |
Texas Pete Hot Sauce (or Tabasco) |
Combine all ingredients and mix well.
Use to baste the pig and serve with chopped BBQ. Seal leftovers and it can be used for several months.
